It’s safe to say consumers are drawn to writings such as bullet lists. They’re easy to read and quick to get your point across. A good rule of thumb to keep in mind is if you had three sentences or less to get your point out, could you?

One of the hardest things to do in any type of writing is grabbing the targeted reader’s attention. Your title should be eye-catching and draw the reader in. Now, this is one of the basics we learn in school, but don’t be fooled. Thinking of a stellar title is a difficult situation to be in. It could make or break who looks at what you are offering. Marketers need to have a good handle on this skill.

The number one thing a consumer is looking for is a solution to their problem. You want your writings to be the answer they’ve been looking for, and your product to be the solution. In order to do this, you need to be able to convey what’s most important about whatever your product may be, and put it front and center. After you do this, the next best step is to urge the customer to take action to buy what you are offering. This is probably the easiest part of what you’re doing.

Writing, in terms of marketing, is all about getting the message out to the consumers in the most user-friendly way. This is no easy job to learn, so do not expect to be perfect right away. It takes practice and constructive criticism to make a great writer, and this is no exception.
