After nearly 30 years working with Fortune 500 companies, startups, and hundreds of service-based entrepreneurs, Beverly brings a rare blend of strategic insight, emotional intelligence, and lived experience to every stage.
Her talks leave audiences feeling seen, energized, and equipped with a deeper understanding of what it truly means to evolve from freelancer, operator, or expert into the leader of a legacy-level brand.
Beverly’s talks are built for women who are excellent at the work itself and increasingly aware that the business around that work needs a truer shape. Her audiences often include consultants, creatives, coaches, service providers, and small business owners who have built trusted businesses through care, consistency, and client relationships, then found themselves carrying too many decisions, too much responsibility, and too little space to think ahead.
Her speaking gives language to that season and helps founders see branding as orientation, identity work, perspective work, language work, and business realignment.
Beverly Cornell is the author of Marketing for Entrepreneurs and the forthcoming Wickedly Branded®: Claim Your Voice, Visibility, and Authority in a World Not Built for Women. Arriving in Fall 2026, Wickedly Branded® explores the identity, responsibility, self-trust, and invisible pressure shaping how women build meaningful work.
Your business can grow beyond the identity that first helped you build it. Clients begin seeking your perspective, your ideas carry farther, and your body of work starts pointing toward a legacy you may still be learning to recognize as your own.
This talk explores the identity evolution that happens as a woman moves from dependable freelancer to trusted voice, helping her recognize the experience, perspective, and original thinking already shaping the next version of her brand.

Why growth creates identity pressure

How messaging falls behind personal evolution

The shift from service provider to category-defining authority

Building visibility that feels sustainable and true
Being seen can begin to feel like a demand for constant access, especially when every idea, experience, and quiet moment becomes possible content. A more human approach gives your audience a meaningful way to know your work while protecting the life that makes the work possible.
This conversation offers a grounded way to build recognition through earned perspective, thoughtful stories, and a sustainable rhythm, allowing your presence to grow while your voice, time, and private life remain your own.

Define what you want people to know about your work.

Choose which parts of your life remain private.

Share ideas that reveal how you think and serve.

Create a presence that respects your actual capacity.

Use systems and AI to extend your work while preserving your voice.
Wickedly Branded® is for the founder who has outgrown the version of her business that was built through response, referrals, and sheer responsibility. This keynote helps her recognize the through-line in her work, own the perspective she has earned, and begin showing up as someone whose voice is part of the value.
This talk invites women service providers to move from being known only for what they do into being trusted for how they see, name, and lead the work. It gives the audience language for the quiet evolution from capable freelancer to recognized authority, with a brand that feels more like truth than performance.

Recognize the difference between being seen and being truly known.

Identify the perspective already living inside your work.

Understand why your voice is part of your business strategy.

See where your brand has outgrown its old language.

Leave with a next right step for standing in your work.
When a business has been shaped by client needs, urgent timelines, and whatever had to happen next, decisions can start to feel heavier than they should. This session brings the founder back to the heart of the work, where her values, favorite clients, strongest gifts, and real life can begin guiding the way forward again.
This session helps the audience see how reconnecting to what matters most can quiet the constant second-guessing that comes from building around everyone else’s needs first. From there, decisions become less about doing more and more about choosing what actually supports the business and the life it was meant to serve.

Name what still feels meaningful in your work.

See where old decisions are still shaping your business.

Recognize which choices are draining your capacity.

Learn how values can simplify business decisions.

Leave with one decision that feels easier to make.
High-capacity founders often become the place where every question, deadline, client need, and possibility lands. The better they get at holding it all together, the easier it becomes for the business to keep asking for more of them.
This talk names the Tornado of Overwhelm as a normal season in a growing service business, especially when skill, care, and responsibility have expanded faster than structure. The audience will begin to see why decision fatigue is often connected to excellence, emotional load, and the pressure of being the whole engine.

Understand why competence can create more complexity.

Recognize the hidden cost of being the default answer.

See how overwhelm builds through accumulated responsibility.

Identify where your business needs more structure.

Leave with one place to reduce decision pressure.
Many founders carry years of advice, expectations, client patterns, and borrowed definitions of success without realizing how heavy that suitcase has become. The Should Suitcase helps them notice what they have been dragging forward and decide what still belongs in the next version of the business.
This session helps women recognize which expectations they have been carrying and decide what belongs in the next version of the business through recognition, reflection, and real-life strategy to build around their capacity, values, family, energy, and ambitions. The goal is a business that feels more workable in an actual week, with fewer decisions made from pressure and more choices made from truth.

Notice which expectations are weighing down your business.

Separate useful guidance from inherited pressure.

Name what your real life needs from your business.

See where your current model feels strained.

Leave with one choice that supports a better business shape.
Growth can feel tender when the current business is working well enough to depend on, while quietly asking too much from the person who built it. The Bridge of Possibility helps founders imagine expansion as a thoughtful crossing, one step at a time, with the existing wisdom of the business still intact.
This conversation supports the founder who wants more reach, money, time, or impact, while also wanting her nervous system, family life, and client care to matter in the process. It offers a grounded way to choose expansion that feels deliberate, sustainable, and connected to what she has already earned.

See expansion as a sequence of choices.

Identify what your current business has taught you.

Name what needs protection during growth.

Recognize the difference between possibility and pressure.

Leave with one bridge step you can take next.
For women who built businesses out of need, drive, and deep responsibility, pushing harder can become so familiar that it starts to feel like the only available strategy. This session looks honestly at the cost of constant effort, especially when the business keeps growing around the founder’s personal capacity.
This talk helps the audience recognize that sustainable growth often begins with different decisions, stronger language, cleaner boundaries, and a business structure that can carry more of the weight. The work becomes more powerful when the founder stops treating exhaustion as proof of commitment and starts building a business that can support her life.

Recognize where effort has become your default strategy.

See how hustle hides structural gaps.

Understand why more pressure rarely creates better decisions.

Identify one place your business needs support.

Leave with a calmer way to think about growth.
Every founder reaches a point where outside advice, comparison, client requests, social media chatter, and old expectations start competing for her attention. Silencing the Flying Monkeys is about protecting the focus required to hear your own instincts again.
This session helps the audience notice which voices are shaping their decisions and which ones are pulling them away from the work they are here to build. Through grounded reflection and brand-centered strategy, founders will learn how to protect their attention, trust their own pattern recognition, and move with more intention.

Identify which voices are crowding your decisions.

Recognize how comparison fragments your focus.

Learn how to return to your own business evidence.

See why focus is a leadership practice.

Leave with one boundary for protecting your attention.
A brand story grows from more than a polished origin or a tidy explanation of what you do. It lives in the moments that shaped your work, the clients who changed how you think, the hard-earned perspective you carry, and the language that helps people recognize why your approach feels different.
This conversation helps founders begin shaping a brand story that feels specific, human, and useful. Instead of trying to sound impressive, they will learn how to follow the Shimmering Thread through their experience so their story can build trust, create recognition, and make their work easier to understand.

Understand what makes a brand story trustworthy.

Identify meaningful moments from your business journey.

See how your perspective shapes your story.

Learn how story supports being chosen.

Leave with one story thread worth developing.
A podcast can become much more than a content channel when the host understands the relationship, positioning, and trust-building that begins before the microphone turns on. This session helps service providers see podcasting as an intentional business conversation, where the right guests, questions, and follow-up can open doors before an episode ever airs.
This talk gives founders a practical way to use podcasting for deeper connection, stronger authority, and more thoughtful client pathways. The audience will learn how to choose guests strategically, shape conversations with care, and create a podcast experience that makes the business easier to know, trust, and enter.

See podcasting as a relationship-building strategy.

Learn how to choose guests with intention.

Understand how pre-interview conversations create trust.

Identify ways to connect episodes to your offers.

Leave with one step to strengthen your podcast journey.
Beverly has spent more than 30 years helping businesses shape their marketing, language, and brand presence, and she brings the perspective of a woman who understands the pressure of building something real while still living a real life.
Her work is especially resonant for women who are capable, trusted, and tired of being the only place every decision lands.
Beverly’s talks are practical without becoming formulaic. She helps audiences see what is happening in their business, why it matters, and what can become more workable next.
Wickedly Branded began during Beverly’s years as an Army spouse searching for a career that could move wherever life required. What started as necessity evolved into decades of experience guiding businesses through growth, reinvention, and transformation.
In the early years, she said yes to everything.
Like many women building service businesses, she became the one carrying it all: the strategist, the marketer, the emotional support system, the problem solver.
Eventually, success itself became its own form of pressure.
That experience now shapes the heart of Beverly’s work and speaking:
helping women build businesses that reflect who they have become, not who they had to be to survive earlier seasons.
“Married my husband, an active-duty soldier, and realized my career needed to be mobile.”
“But over time, I discovered something unexpected: a passion for helping people tell their stories.”
“I knew I wasn’t fully aligned with my purpose, and the work I was doing didn’t light me up the way it used to.”
“Slowly but surely, the vision became clear: We aren’t just marketers. We are growth visionaries who help people ignite their magic and spark transformation.”
“We built processes to help purpose-driven entrepreneurs rediscover their ‘why’ and amplify it through authentic branding.”
“Beverly Cornell brought such a thoughtful, grounded presence to Branding and Brunch. She spoke to our community in a way that felt both deeply personal and immediately useful, helping women entrepreneurs see the connection between their brand, their voice, their lived experience, and the business they are growing. Her perspective gave our attendees language for things they had been feeling privately, especially around visibility, identity, and the pressure of being the person everything depends on. Beverly’s conversation stayed with people because it felt real, generous, and rooted in what founders are actually carrying as they build.”
“Beverly Cornell brought warmth, depth, and grounded strategic insight to our FRA 2026 panels. She has a rare ability to speak to the real experience behind entrepreneurship, especially for women who are carrying the work, the decisions, the growth, and the pressure of becoming more visible in their businesses. Beverly helped our audience feel seen while also giving them practical language for brand evolution, identity, messaging, and the next right step in their growth. Her presence on the panel was thoughtful, generous, and deeply relevant to the conversations our community needed to have”
“Beverly prepared an inspirational talk about finding clarity. She was engaging and warm. I would highly recommend her as a speaker for your organization or event.”
I recently attended 2 Success Luncheons through the Greater Fayetteville Chamber with Beverly as the speaker, and I truly enjoyed it. As someone who grew up watching The Wizard of Oz (and still loves it today), I really appreciated how she used those familiar characters and stories to explain much larger concepts. It made the message easy to visualize, remember, and apply.
Her presentation also reminded me of the Eisenhower Matrix. It kept me focusing on what truly matters instead of constantly reacting to what demands our attention. I left reflecting on my own business, leadership, and personal growth. Beverly is a very relatable woman.
She has a wonderful way of making complex ideas feel approachable. Rather than simply telling people what to do, she encourages you to think differently about yourself, your purpose, and the direction you’re headed. I found myself continuing to think about her message long after the luncheon ended, and to me, that’s the mark of a great speaker.
I highly recommend attending one of Beverly’s presentations if you have the opportunity.
“Beverly, founder of Wickedly Branded, is phenomenal. She applied her marketing skills to help our collective of independent authors figure out how to best position ourselves and our books in a very competitive publishing landscape and gave us invaluable insights into navigating everything from leveraging social media to creating compelling and SEO optimized website content to ad buying – all while inspiring us to connect to our creative sides and find the joy and fun in the business aspects of our work. I highly recommend Wickedly Branded for anyone trying to separate themself or their business from the crowd with the added bonus of measurable results. Beverly is full of exciting ideas and has a true gift for bringing out what’s interesting, genuine and unique in her clients.”
“Beverly is insightful, generous and full of creative ideas! I can’t imagine a better guide to getting your marketing message heard, loud and clear.”
“I invited Beverly to speak at a women’s retreat I hosted. She embodies her often used phrase “love what you do.” Beverly opened up and shared with us very personally what her business does, how she started it and how to step into creating a business out of the things we already loved doing. Her approach to personally connecting with these women taught each of us powerful foundations for walking in the business arena. I highly recommend her services, no matter what stage your business is at, because Beverly will hold your dream with you and help you achieve your goals!
“Thank you so much, Beverly, for speaking to our group about book marketing. You are so knowledgable, generous and friendly!”
