Beverly Cornell

Beverly Cornell writes and speaks about work, identity, visibility, and leadership in a world that asks women to carry more than it was designed to support.

Her work explores the intersection of brand, language, nervous system safety, and lived experience, helping women make sense of why their work can be meaningful and successful while still feeling heavy, and how to build visibility and leadership that feels steady rather than performative.

Why This Stays Personal

Several years ago, I knew what it was like to wake at three in the morning with the business already running through my head. I could serve clients well, solve complicated problems, and keep every promise I had made, while the private cost showed up in sleep, in the way I stayed close to my phone, and in how little room remained for the people and parts of life I cared about.

That season changed the questions I ask about branding and growth. I began looking beyond how a business appeared and paying closer attention to how it felt to run, how many decisions depended on one person, how often the founder’s real perspective disappeared behind acceptable language, and whether the strategy could support her during an ordinary week with a full calendar and a real life.

Today, I help women bring their brand into the same season as their experience. We find the Shimmering Thread running through what they have lived, learned, and built, then turn it into language, offers, and structure they can use. The result is a business that sounds more like the woman behind it and gives her more room to lead, think, rest, and stay close to the work she wants to be known for.

FAQs

Reclaiming Voice, Visibility, and Work in a World Not Designed for Women.

What is Wickedly Branded® about?

Wickedly Branded® is a book about work, identity, and visibility for women building meaningful careers and businesses inside systems that were never designed for how they actually live or work.

It explores why capable women often feel worn down as their work grows and offers language, context, and perspective that help readers reconnect with their voice and build visibility that feels steady and sustainable.

Wickedly Branded® is not a traditional branding or marketing book.

While it draws from decades of branding and marketing experience, the book focuses on the deeper layers underneath visibility, including identity, nervous system safety, leadership, and self-trust, because those factors shape how branding actually works over time.

Wickedly Branded® is written for women who care deeply about their work and are carrying visible success alongside invisible responsibility.

Readers often include consultants, coaches, creatives, founders, and leaders who are navigating growth, identity shifts, and increased visibility and who want language that helps them understand what they are carrying and why.

Readers often walk away with a clearer understanding of their relationship with work, more confidence in their voice, and greater ease in decision-making.

Rather than offering tactics or formulas, the book provides perspective that helps readers trust themselves, name what matters, and move forward with more steadiness.

Wickedly Branded® does not focus on step-by-step strategies or templates.

Instead, it offers insight, reflection, and pattern recognition that support clearer thinking and more aligned decisions over time. Many readers describe it as a book they return to rather than complete once.

Wickedly Branded® is scheduled for release in Spring 2026.
