Claim Your Voice, Visibility, and Authority in a World Not Built for Women
The early readers have had their turn. Now come behind the scenes as Wickedly Branded® makes its way into the world.
You can be successful, capable, experienced, and still find yourself reacting to a life and business full of decisions you never consciously made.
The client who needs something. The opportunity you should probably take. The goal that keeps moving. The thing you keep doing because you’re good at it. The opinion you soften before anyone has even disagreed.
Eventually, it becomes hard to tell the difference between what you chose and what you simply got very good at handling.
Wickedly Branded® is about changing that.
It’s about naming what has been shaping you, claiming what actually belongs to you, letting more of what is distinctly yours become recognizable, and using the authority you’ve already earned with intention.
You don’t need another formula for becoming more impressive. You need enough space to hear yourself think—and enough trust in yourself to choose what happens next.

When Beverly first asked me to be an early reader, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect. I’m not someone who typically sits down and reads books cover to cover. What surprised me most was that this wasn’t really a book about branding; it was a book about identity. I’ve struggled with this personally since pivoting my career at age 37. It challenged me to think about the expectations I’ve carried, how I’ve defined success, and whether the life and business I’m building truly reflect who I am. There were several moments where I found myself stopping to reflect on my own journey. The parallel is insane. If you’re a woman navigating entrepreneurship, leadership, or simply trying to figure out your next chapter, which I am, I think you’ll find pieces of yourself in these pages.
This book will resonate if you are:
You have built a successful career, business, or body of work—and you're starting to question some of the rules you've been following.
You are very good at things you aren't sure you want to keep doing.
You have spent years being capable, useful, responsible, and dependable, and you're ready to become more intentional about where all that capability goes.
You want to trust your own judgment without needing another certification, committee meeting, or round of reassurance first.
You want to be more visible without turning your whole life into content.
And maybe you’ve caught yourself thinking:
I should have this figured out by now.
You’re exactly who I had in mind.
Before you decide how to position yourself, what to say, how visible to become, or what you want to be known for, there is an earlier question:
What actually belongs to me?
That’s why Wickedly Branded® moves through identity, self-trust, ambition, time, visibility, branding, authority, and leadership.
Because a recognizable brand begins with a woman who can recognize her own voice.

How capable women become overextended rather than supported

Why visibility can feel risky even when the work is strong

How hustle culture shapes decision-making and self-trust

Why branding is inseparable from identity and leadership

How nervous system safety influences sustainable success
When everything is moving so fast that reacting starts feeling like deciding.
The expectations you've been carrying so long you may have forgotten who packed them.
The opinions, advice, comparison, and outside voices that don't automatically deserve a vote.
What happens when you never consciously decide what enough will mean.
Success designed around a life you actually want to live.
The recognizable combination of perspective, story, values, strengths, judgment, positioning, and how you serve.
Letting more of what is distinctly yours remain visible without giving everyone access to everything.
Leading from earned judgment without needing constant performance or control.
Using what you've earned to open doors and create possibilities beyond yourself.
This makes me want to read this particular book. The existing list could belong to dozens of women’s leadership books.
Maybe you begin here:
I should be able to handle this.
I should want more.
I should be more visible.
I should keep doing this because I’m good at it.
I should know what comes next.
And somewhere along the way, the questions change:
What do I actually want?
What would enough look like for me?
What deserves my time?
What am I ready to stop carrying?
What do I want people to recognize about me?
What can I make possible with what I’ve already earned?
And eventually:
Your Brand Magic isn’t something we manufacture.
It’s the recognizable combination already present in your perspective, story, values, strengths, judgment, positioning, and the way you serve.
Part of becoming Wickedly Branded® is learning to recognize what has become so natural to you that you may have stopped seeing it as valuable—and then letting enough of it become visible that other people can recognize it too.
Wickedly Branded® blends:

Systems awareness grounded in lived reality

Branding as identity, leadership, and meaning-making

Neuroscience, psychology, and organizational research

Narrative, metaphor, and real business experience

Warmth, humor, and thoughtful reflection
This is a book that holds intuition and research together and invites both reflection and movement.
The first piece of that packet starts with a single, honest read on where you stand today. The Brand Magic Lens takes about 4 minutes and gives you exactly that — free, before the book is even out.
The book gives you the ideas.
The Reader Hub gives you places to play with them.
Inside, you’ll find experiences and tools including:
The Wickedly Branded® Playbook
Magic Hat Cards
Show Your True Green Experiment
Pass the Magic
Brand Magic Audit
Inhabitable Success tools
Reflection and decision-making exercises
Book club and gathering resources
Some you’ll use while reading. Others may sit there until the exact moment you need them.
There is no prize for completing everything.
Take what helps. Leave what doesn’t. Come back when the question changes.
You just read how the Workbook builds toward one real document — your own Brand Magic Blueprint Prep Packet. That process doesn’t have to wait for the book to release.
The manuscript has been challenged, researched, edited, rearranged, cut, rewritten, laughed over, and occasionally argued with.
Now we’re getting ready to bring Wickedly Branded® into the world.
Join the Wickedly Branded® Book List for behind-the-scenes peeks, first looks at Reader Hub experiences, invitations to book events, and the very important email that tells you:
It’s here.
What really happened while writing this book?
Come hang out with me for a candid, playful look behind Wickedly Branded®.
I’ll share some of what didn’t make the final manuscript, ideas that changed along the way, early-reader surprises, illustrations, Reader Hub goodies, and a few things that normally never escape my computer.
We’ll pull from the Magic Hat, I’ll read a little from the book, and you can ask me the questions you’re probably not supposed to ask an author while she’s still recovering from writing it.
Book List members get the invitation first.
“I felt calmer and more confident just reading it.”
“This book helped me understand myself, not just my business.”
“Reading this felt like someone finally put words to experiences I didn’t know how to explain.”
Beverly Cornell is the founder of Wickedly Branded®, an award-winning branding and marketing agency built by a woman, for women.
With nearly 30 years of experience across branding, marketing, communication, teaching, sales, and entrepreneurship, Beverly is known for seeing the patterns founders are often too close to their own work to see—and helping women turn what they know into a voice, brand, and body of work other people can recognize.
Her work is shaped by lived experience as a founder, military spouse, stepmother, foster and adoptive parent, and leader through seasons of constant transition.
The early-reader chapter is complete.
The next one is getting this book into your hands.
